In 2005 Jordão had its environmental management system certified according to the ISO 14001 norm, the first in the sector in Portugal and one of the first internationally. It is committed to anticipating the adoption of the most advanced legislation and environmental directives, designing efficient and low-contribution products for global warming (GWP).

Ongoing innovation!

Jordão has been adopting measures to increase the energy efficiency of its facilities and reduce the impact of its activity:

We are producers of clean energy. Between 2014 and 2024 we will have produced +3.4 GW of clean energy.
We have installed low-power LED lighting throughout the company, including in production areas;
We have replaced R134a gas (high GWP) by water in the polyurethane injection process;
Cork application in Eco-Isolation of our equipments.
